Staging

Staging is temporarily grouping and positioning raw materials near some place in warehouse.
The staging process in a raw material warehouse involves temporarily placing received materials in a designated area for inspection, verification, labeling, and sorting. Once quality and documentation are confirmed, materials are organized and prepared for storage or delivery to production to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.

Introduction
Staging is a controlled, temporary holding process where raw materials are placed after receiving and before they are either stored or issued to production. It acts as a buffer zone between inbound handling and downstream warehouse or manufacturing activities.

Purpose of Staging
Staging ensures that raw materials:
Are verified and inspected before use
Match purchase orders and specifications
Are available at the right time for production
Do not disrupt warehouse flow or production schedules
