DS4608XD is only commonly use for production line work in progress PCB or small component scanning. This special design scanner is targeted to read high resolution barcodes printed on a shining surface. Normal scanner with auto focus function will have the difficulty to read the barcode marked on top of this product surface. DS4608XD or DS4608 Extreme density design with high resolution zooming function which typically for barcodes smaller than 5 mil on the PCB or silicon surface.
