How to use AGen scan and print labels on car manufacturing and car spare part warehouse?

AGen scan and print labels software can be used in car manufacturing and car spare part warehouse to help identify and track products efficiently. Here are 6 steps to use AGen scan and print labels in these settings:

Step 1 - Choose a barcode scanner and label printer that is compatible with your inventory management system. Make sure that they are easy to use and have the necessary features to meet your needs. AGen suggests you to use Zebra TC26 which allows you to connect to your server via telco network.

Step 2 - Set up your inventory management system to generate unique barcodes for each item in your inventory. These barcodes should include information about the product, such as its name, model number, and location in the warehouse.

Step 3 - Use the barcode scanner computer with AGen install to scan each item as it arrives in the warehouse or as it is produced on the manufacturing line. This will update your inventory management system and ensure that you have accurate information about each product. AGen is ready to integrate with most of the inventory management system via text file or excel file connection.

Step 4 - Print labels for each item using the label printer. These labels should include the product's barcode, as well as any other relevant information, such as the product name, model number, and location in the warehouse. After scanning the barcode from AGen software, just click the print button to directly print out the label from your mobile printer.

Step 5 - Attach the label to the product or its packaging, making sure that it is easily visible and can be scanned easily. Use the AGen barcode checker to make sure the barcode printed is easy to read.

Step 6 - Configure AGen to use the barcode scanner to track each product as it moves through the warehouse or along the manufacturing line. This will help you keep track of inventory levels, identify any items that are low in stock, and ensure that products are being shipped to the correct locations. Check in and check out by just scanning the barcode with AGen software to keep track of your inventory level.
